Determined! Ambitious! Independent! - These words are all words that describe me. I hold a Bachelors of Science of Political Science from the illustrious Savannah State University. I am currently working for the Melvin D. Marx, P.A. as a Paralegal.
Growing up I’ve always expressed my interest in lending a helping hand wherever necessary. While I enjoy working with others, I am a team player contributing to effective communications, public speaking, filing, Microsoft, publisher, and Photoshop. I have been exposed, while working at Savannah State University in various offices such as the Office of Admissions, Student Affairs, and University Advancement where I served as secretary/ receptionist answering phones, organizing and inputting data, and working closely with the administrative assistant. I also had the opportunity to intern at Nash and Mance, LLP where I served as lead intern establishing and organizing a file system, gathering data as it relates to particular clients, drafting various letters and documents and ensuring the office ran smoothly.
In addition my position as financial secretary and my ability to work well with others enhances my ability to sit in on meetings and hearing and takes notes as necessary. During my tenure as President, I cultivated relationships enhancing my communication, technology, and leadership skills further giving me the ability to create agendas and contracts, organize teleconferences, as well as partake in leadership seminars and workshops.
This career would provide me with ideal skills to use in a professional setting. I would enjoy an opportunity to talk with you or someone your office to see where my skill set would be of the greatest benefit to your company.
